International Teachers and Students Visited Calligraphy and Culture Experience Hall

Organized by the International Office, the international teachers and students of UIR visited Beijing Hanmu Calligraphy and Culture Experience Hall on April 27.

The experience museum exhibits the evolution of Chinese characters and the history behind it from different aspects. There are nearly 20 experience activities including paper-making, brush writing, ink grinding and bamboo book making, etc. The international teachers and students really enjoyed the activities and learned a lot about traditional Chinese culture. After the visit, they expressed their excitement and great interest in future studying traditional Chinese culture.

Exhibits like this are of great importance because they can serve as a platform showing the glorious Chinese traditional culture to our foreign friends.
